Dear Logan,
What do you do with a horse that ducks real bad and you can't get him out of it?

Thanks,
Tyler, Arcadia, Fla.

Dear Tyler,
Try roping little muleys; something that doesn't hit him too hard that will build his confidence. Most of the time when a horse gets to ducking real hard it's because they're preparing for the jerk. If you have some calves you can rope and hold him in there where it won't hit him, generally a horse will lighten up. You just have to hold them in there. I've got one that does it a lot and roping little light steers helps a lot.

Sincerely,
Logan Olson
